What is Grace Place

A refuge where people can learn of God's love and get help with physical, spirituial, and emotional needs.

What kind of assistance do we give?

Food, diapers, rent, meals, utility bills, gasoline, transportation, emergency lodging, money skills, counseling, baby-sitting, and literacy.

What kind of people do we help?

People in crisis. Many are out of work, ill, single parents, transients, abused, abandoned, or victims of crime and disaster.  Many are mired in a cycle of poverty. We help residents of Erath County.

How do we work with other churches and agencies?

We subscribe to the Erath Benevolence Network of churches and helping agencies and report throughout the Internet.  We use pledge letters to confirm assistance from others.  We refer to agencies that are more qualified to assist with specific needs. We participate in the Community Resource Coordination Group, Community Social Workers Group, and Ministerial Alliance.

What can I do?

Pray. Donate to Grace Place Ministries.  Complete a Ministry Outreach Inventory Card and volunteer to follow up with clients, repair autos, baby-sit, give rides - many, many opportunities are listed!  Call us, 965-3187 to sign up!
